Thank you ! To everyone who stepped up and helped out with the GoFundMe campaign for the benefit of my late friend John Cassidy, John's son Finn and John's family. I would like to relay to you all the gratitude expressed to me by John's Mother Nicki, His brother Wayne, and Finn's mother Sarah. I've spoken to them during the GoFundMe drive and they would all tell you THANKS! The generosity of this audience has been overwhelming and I appreciate each and every one of you.

As of today I'll be taking down both videos ( the video announcing the GoFundMe , and the thank you video ) as they are no longer relevant......but I will leave them here on my channel as unlisted videos.....so in the event someone would like to read the comments for comfort and support as they go through a loss of their own...the comments will be available for them. Thank you all so much for helping me help out my friends family......I'd losing my eyesight trying to read "heart" all the comments and say thanks to those who donated.....I'll keep at it, but I just want you all to know how much this means to all of us grieving for John, that you all have stepped up to say kind words and help out a grieving family and son.......This audience is the best there ever was on YouTube. On December 12th of this year, my closest friend, John Cassidy, passed away unexpectedly. We had had been like brother for over 30 years. John and I had countless good times together going back to my senior year in high school in 1993. When Brooke and I moved to Alaska, John and his wife moved up a few years later. We worked together for years and had loads of adventures throughout the backcountry of Alaska. We both moved back to Michigan around the same time.
In the last 3 decades John has been an immovable friend.
Not only was John a great friend to me, he was wove through all parts of my life. My friends in Alaska, were friends with John. My brother Ryan was friends with John, Jon's brother Wayne is my friend, our brother are friends with each other, my friends in Michigan are also john's friends.....most all of our friend group goes back to the early 90's...........losing John has been devastating to all of us.
This last Saturday we attended his funeral...the biggest funeral I have ever been to. It was tough.......the toughest part is that John leaves behind his son Finn who is just 10 years old.
There is a GoFundMe account set up for John's family to help cover the cost of his funeral, and the amount they were shooting for is almost reached. But Finn has lost his father and that will never be remedied. If you would like to give the best Christmas present I could ever ask for...please go to the GoFundMe site and send a few dollars to the family. God knows the expenses won't end at paying off the funeral home, and there is a lot of years left until Finn becomes an adult.

I have never asked this audience for anything...but if this once you would help me take some of the burden off of this family, I would greatly appreciate it.
