hey all I'd like to make some simple videos I can prerecord/edit for during my move. It's that or going completely on hiatus which I like less.

An update on my video I posted in support of Naomi King, I did take the video down after seeing more come out. I mostly posted that video to open up more space to talk about SA, as a survivor myself but I understand that it definitely was posted in an emotional response to seeing Naomi's video and believing everything right off the bat and being manipulated into her narrative. I openly acknowledge that. I am hurt by this because SA survivors need to stick together and so I am under the habit of believing someone first because more often than not, the general public chooses not to believe and nitpick. It's why I didn't come out about my SA for a decade because I knew the responses I would likely get. Still, I apologize for reacting rashly in this moment.

That being sad, my opinion of DG is greatly altered by the fact of his affair. He still is not someone I can look up to anymore because of this fact. I was never subscribed to NK before this anyway so my status there is moot, I just will be much more critical in cases like these should they arise again. I'm glad DG has taken time to heal and grow but I still don't think any of this situation that has come to light makes me want to be a subscriber to him anymore. there are many other channels who can provide the information I get from his channel that as far as I know, are not cheaters.

I just wish more people would, you know, not cheat and not SA. And also to put yourself in others shoes. I see a lot of comments on the original videos just ripping people to shreds for believing NK and I think that lacks the nuance of supporting survivors. What NK has done has hurt SA survivors everywhere and I think now more than ever we need to be listening to those voices and be compassionate to those who have suffered through it.
