🗣️What is the best strategy for the SSC CGL 2024?

To crack SSC CGL you need to be consistence. First clear your basic from some course or free youtube videos and Telegram😈. You need to revise the materials several times.

Most important part is the behavioral aspect while giving examination. You need to practice mocks atleast 100 mocks for mains (to get good rank and get used to giving exam) and you have to make strategy of attempting mocks by experimenting. Once you get strategy ,stick to it.

You need to be calm and composed while giving examination.( If you get anxious it will ruin your paper) . That 2 hours of examination will matter .

As you know SSC CGL examination comprise of four subject . Here is my list subjectwise.

Mathematics:

1)Class notes by Rakesh Yadav ( to clear basic concept and short trick, first do it 2–3 times

2)Previous year question ( atleast from year 2018 , do it 2 times, it will help you a lot ) book by pinnacle or kiran

3)Arithmetic by Abhinay Sharma ( the level of questions is good)

4)Follow Abash saini youtube channel for revision of concepts

5)Attempt mocks by textbook and olive board. Analysis them and try not to make same mistakes again

6)For calculation make a PDF of squares, cubes, ratio, percentage and do it daily for 15 minutes. Also you can download it from Current Mudde telegram channel.

7)Attempt Adda 24×7 quizzes for speed.

English:-

1)Plinth to paramount by Neetu Singh .( For grammar and basic Vocabulary)

2)The mirror of common errors by A.k singh ( best book for grammar practice,do it atleast 3 times )

3) Objective general english by S.P Bakshi ( just read vocabulary and do grammar practice)

4)Previous years questions (any source you can follow)

5) Jumbled paragraph and sentences by Neon.

6)Develop reading habit for comprehension ( read editorial)

7) Attempt Mocks by textbook/olive board/Adda 24×7

Reasoning:-

1)Just follow previous year paper.

2)For verbal reasoning ( assertion reason questions are asked in SSC CGL 2022) follow verbal and analytical reasoning by Arihant Publication or Verbal and non verbal reasoning by R.S Agrawal ( I would suggest you to download pdf of this type of questions and do it to save your time)

3)Attempt Mocks by Testbook and Olive board.

General Awareness:-

1)Prepare basic from Lucent .

2)Previous years questions by kiran publication( read the explanation)

3)Complete the topic like Mountains, tribes, folks, rivers, wildlife sanctuary from Study IQ Gaurav Garg( you can directly finish it from notes available on various channels)

4)For current affairs you can follow any current affairs magazine. You can also read current affairs by Abash saini , Current Mudde , Utkarsh classes to save your time.

5)Attempt mocks ( read additional details given under answer, it will help you a lot).

Computer:-

1)Computer previous years question by kiran publication.

2)Computer notes by RBE shubham jain .

Most Important thing is revision and consistency.

Q 1 ) What changes can be made in the strategy of the SSC CHSL Tier 2 due to the change in the syllabus of the Tier 2 exam?

• Quantitative Aptitude:-

Reduce focus on Aptitude this time. Only previous year Qs and mock test. Give mock tests of prev yr pattern Tier-2 (100Q). For PYQ, Rakesh Yadav only. I have shared Other preparations tips here

• ENGLISH:-

Start reading editorial section from newspaper, preferably The Hindu or Indian Express (fav newspapers of SSC). Its already mentioned in the syllabus about 2–3 passage related to newspaper and current affairs. Grammar from Neetu singh. Idioms and One-word from Neetu singh, Vocab from S.P Bakshi. Practice questions of error seriously. Follow any teacher for grammar rules if you've lack confidence in grammar. I must recommend the 60 important Grammar rules video by Rani Mam.

• Reasoning:-

Reasoning questions asked recently (3–4 yrs) from CGL, CHSL, CPO, MTS, GD, JE, etc easily available online. Keeping in mind the recent questions asked in Tier-1 CGL22, cover Syllogism (either…or), Number Series and simple Seating Arrangement of Banking exams (clerk-level) from Ankush Lamba sir (YouTube).

• GK:-

--->GK will be the deciding factor this time.

--->Complete Lucent first for every subject, including miscellaneous.

--->History — focus more on Modern history, follow any YouTube lecture for it.

--->Geography-- location based questions- rivers, temples, etc. Also includes mapping in ur daily schedule.

--->Polity - all important amendments and some important articles, read Parliament chapter from Laxmikant.

--->Science — Biology from any teacher and more emphasis on Kingdoms&Phylum chapters, Chemistry - only basics and common names of compounds and have a look on periodic table, Physics units and dimensions, famous basic physics theories and Space.

--->Economics — just 2022 budget and economic survey . Schemes related to financial benefits etc, GDP formula and 5-year plan.

--->Current affairs — From Dec 2021 And Main Focus On Last 6 month Current Affairs to the exam date and Last 3 month Current Affairs are Very Very Important 🧡🧡
