Many people in modern times struggle with mental health issues because they don't realize their TRUE value and worth goes beneath the physical. It's very easy for us as physical beings to get caught up in our five senses and forget the higher faculties given to us by our creator. I get loads of emails from guys that feel lost and defeated in what the point of life and their unique purpose is, so I decided to make a video on my other channel explaining how we can use a specific higher faculty and universal law to ACHIEVE OUR DREAMS. Aging is a part of life EVERYONE has to deal with. But, there are some men that age like fine wine, while others age like milk. Just because you may be older in years DOESN'T necessarily mean you will be less vibrant or energetic than someone who's in their 20's. It's ALL about how you VIEW LIFE and your ability to BUILD YOURSELF UP on a DAILY basis with HEALTHY physical and mental HABITS. Now, more than ever before in recorded history, "Dad Bods", diabetes, and heart failure is the highest and continuing to rise rapidly. In fact, nearly 70% of Americans are overweight and 1/3 are considered obese. While this may seem like a depressing statistic it is also the perfect opportunity for you to stand out. With consistent healthy habits every week, you have the perfect opportunity to rise to the top 10% of people in physique and mental health. That's why I recently sat down with my mid-80s, healthy Grandpa, to discuss his tips and advice on HOW TO AGE GRACEFULLY. In addition to his personal experience and lifestyle tips that've helped him live to 80+, we pull up statistics from Harvard Med, surveys from AARP, and other professional health peer-reviewed studies during our conversation. Many people have different interpretations of what PURPOSE means. The best definition I could find states that, “your life purpose consists of the CENTRAL MOTIVATING AIMS of your life—the reasons you get up in the morning. Purpose can GUIDE life decisions, INFLUENCE behavior, SHAPE goals, offer a sense of DIRECTION, and create MEANING. For some people, purpose is connected to vocation—meaningful, satisfying work”. Sadly, one of the main reasons young men today are struggling in the modern world is due to a lack of a sense of purpose in life. Harvard medical doctor, Joseph Kvedar, has stated that the #1 contributing factor for humans' longevity and health is due to having a sense of purpose. Depression, stress and anxiety is something men are often encouraged to KEEP TO THEMSELVES and "JUST MAN UP". Sadly, men are responsible for the majority of homelessness and suicides in the world, oftentimes due to feeling purposeless, emotionless and misunderstood. I've decided to devote my newest video series, Wisdom Across Time, in order to: help encourage and inspire men to be authentically masculine, allow a space online for men to express their feelings/emotions without judgment and hear from other men about how they've overcome challenges and obstacles to obtain peace, happiness and abundance. In this first ever Wisdom Across Time episode I discuss "How to Overcome Depression and Anxiety As A Modern Man" with my 80-year old grandfather.
