Hello there, and welcome to my Youtube channel!
I'm Sharanya Iyer (or Sharu as everyone calls me)
I’m a solo traveler from India with a thirst for some really offbeat and adventurous travel.
I'm a GoPro and PADI ambassador, certified Master scuba diver, Freediver, lover of heights, and an adrenaline junkie on a constant journey to fight fear and challenge norms and mass narratives.
From the mountains of Kyrgyzstan to the turquoise domes of Iran, from Iceland's magical glaciers to driving alone through Oman's endless golden deserts, from discovering Voodoo in West Africa to diving with the majestic Blue Whale and Hammerhead Sharks in Alor…I travel to feel alive and to discover kindness and peace in this world.
I document my travels here and hope to inspire you to go explore more and give people and places a chance, even when mass media doesn’t.

Just casually chilling ON a railway track and not just any railway track, but the longest one in Karnataka! :)
You can actually go on to the tracks as trains pass by not too frequently, and if you know the time-table for them, it’s a great place to hang out and find that light at the end of the tunnel ;)
