Let’s talk about growth today. I recently reached a major milestone on YouTube. I reached 1000 subscribers! Trust me, I'm crazy excited about this, but I've been celebrating all along the journey.
Growth happens daily. It's not always loud or prepped for the highlight-reel. And it doesn't have a size...I have no love for "big" wins that everyone claps for. Years of working in retail and education has helped me to done thing fairly well: listen. When it comes to our adults kids, nieces and nephews, I will ask a gazillion questions before I share my thoughts.
Here's my advice: shift from manager to mentor. Ask one question before offering advice. It’s a simple way to show you’re listening, not just directing. Your adult child gets to feel capable, and you get to stay connected without carrying the whole situation on your shoulders. 💛
