Let’s talk about THE DRY SKIN TYPE‼️

📌Dry Skin which is medically known as xerosis, is a common skin condition characterized by a lack of moisture in the skin. Popular characteristics include: flakiness, roughness, tightness, redness, dull appearance, increased sensitivity, fine lines & wrinkles etc.

So today, I’d be sharing a few tips to help you maintain your Dry Skin, that is if you fall into this category:

1. Hydrate from the Inside: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated.

2. Gentle Cleansing: Use a mild, hydrating cleanser to avoid stripping your skin's natural oils.

3. Moisturize Daily: Apply a rich, hydratin moisturizer to lock in moisture.

4. Humidify: Use a humidifier in your living space to add moisture to the air.

5. Avoid Hot Water: Hot showers can be drying, so opt for lukewarm water when cleansing.

6. Exfoliate Wisely: Gently exfoliate to remove dead skin cells, but don't overdo it.

7. Sun Protection: Always wear sunscreen to protect your skin from UV damage.

8. Use Hyaluronic Acid: This ingredient helps your skin retain moisture.

9. Avoid Harsh Soaps: Choose sulphate-free & fragrance-free products to prevent dryness.
