Next Month I will take off in a journey to support the National Down Syndrome Society in honor of my son Cooper. 14+ years ago my doctor asked me multiple times it I was sure I wanted to continue with my pregnancy. She kept explaining that life was about to get very hard. The continued ask got to be a lot to hear from a doctor. What I needed from that doctor was for them to educate me. The NDSS was there to be an educational resource for me to help prepare me for what was about to come. No regrets! I could not imagine my world without Cooper in it. Forever grateful.
