Welcome to my channel! This channel exists because of all the requests from fine folks like you who wanted to know more about how to alter cards for yourself. I hope these videos are helpful!
My goal is to have a new upload every Monday and Friday, and a time-lapse speed paint once a month! (You can help pick the speed paint on my Instagram stories!)
Most of the cards shared here were commissioned (someone sent in a card to have it altered). *THE* Card Stripping Tutorial video drops next Friday, one week from today! I'm removing the Taping Off a Card tutorial from members only to go hand in hand with this most requested video. I've come to terms with not having the time right now to have enough time to regularly create members-exclusive longform videos in this era of life, so perhaps that will be revisited again in the future. For context with today's short and Friday's speed paint, Shaddoll Hedgehog was the first card I extended, back in 2014. I thought it would be fun to redo it with newer techniques and in a rarity upgrade 10 years later. If you're learning something new, whether it's altering cards or your own art method, keep at it! You never know where it can take you. 💜

Hey Everyone! If you saw the ~NEW~ taping off a card tutorial that went live this morning, thank you for watching it! But also, I'm sorry the upload blundered. Something went amiss with the export process, and the 26 minute tutorial only uploaded about 5 minutes. derp. SO. The full video is re-processing presently, and will go live later today. This was intended to be a members-only video; it will be public-facing TODAY ONLY, then switched to members-only. So, if you'd like to get an idea of what a more detailed tutorial might look like, here's a preview for you, and if you'd like future more informative videos like this, you can join my channel memberships! The poll below is for what you'd like to see for the next in-depth tutorial. To answer the question @Poogimuns posted on the original blundered upload: I like your idea of a 3D-printed cover for painting over a card, but I don't think it would help with stripping cards, since the acetone would still get under the edge of it without the seal the tape makes. Something like that might work for cards that are just being painted if you got the dimensions just right, and a way to secure it to the card without it shifting while you work.
