He teaches barbecue tips, cook-off tricks and how to master live fire cooking through his online Pitmaster Class which has over 1,000 members. He is also the founder of the American Pitmaster Company – a line of barbecue and grilling seasonings that are specifically Made for Fire.

Wow just WOW! I was surprised and super honored this past Monday at Ninfa’s where during my book signing I was presented with a proclamation from the City of Houston making August 18 officially ARNIETEX Day! Thank you to all involved in making this happen and to Councilmember Joaquin Martinez for presenting this at the event. Dang. I might need to move to Houston!!!

Had delicious barbecue feast in Austin recently at the brick n mortar Leroy and Lewis location, the first time I had a been here to this location and loved it, absolutely beautiful space to compliment the awesome spread of goodness! Beef cheeks and flat iron were great to have along side the classic brisket and sausage. Not pictured - the desserts! Phew! Cannot recommend this place enough if you are in the area and hospitality was unmatched from the moment we walked in to when we left. Thank you Evan Leroy and congrats on such a great place with a great menu, can’t wait to go back. Also, I can’t lie, even though we had all this food my eyes we’re on my buddy Matt’s burger (also not pictured) lol
