🔹 EV Charging + UPI:
Google Pay, PhonePe and Paytm may soon become part of the UBC ecosystem, making the charging experience even more seamless.

🔹 Electric Buses in Chamba:
10 electric buses are already in operation, with 1,000 more planned.

🔹 Charging Network Growth:
India’s public charging stations have grown from 5,151 in 2022 to 52,718 in July 2026.

🔹 Noida’s E-Bus Push:
With 250 more e-buses planned, ridership has already jumped from 1.5 lakh to 3.4 lakh between July and August.

🔹 The EV Puzzle:
Different states are at different stages of EV adoption and charging infrastructure. The next phase is not just about adding chargers, but building an ecosystem that can support growing EV demand.

Because the EV story isn't just about cars.

VinFast India: Production Halt or Strategy Reset? ⚡🇮🇳

Reports of VinFast “pausing” India operations need some context.

According to Reuters, the company has temporarily halted certain localisation and supplier-development activities for the VF 3, VF 6 and VF 7, reportedly due to cost concerns.

However, NDTV Auto says VinFast has denied any production halt, with CKD assembly of the VF 6 and VF 7 continuing.

Meanwhile, Autocar India reports plans for India-specific EVs, higher localisation and Phase 2 expansion of its Tamil Nadu facility.

And Business Standard reports that VinFast is engaging with 300+ Indian suppliers to strengthen local sourcing.

So, this looks less like an India exit and more like a rethink of its localisation and cost strategy.

The real test: Can VinFast achieve competitive costs while building a genuinely local EV ecosystem?

Smart cost management or a warning sign?
