¡Nos atrevemos con un MOTOR V6 DE MERCEDES! Este motor tiene un bloque de aluminio de seis cilindros en V a 90º. Sus 2 culatas de aluminio tienen cuatro válvulas por cilindro, con distribución de doble árbol de levas en cada una y balancines de rodillo con taqués hidráulicos.


Los árboles de levas están movidos por una cadena doble, que también hacen girar al eje de equilibrador, instalado en el bloque motor entre los bancos de cilindros para hacer frente a las vibraciones producidas.

Hay un sistema de distribución variable capaz de variar un rango de 40º los árboles de levas. El colector de admisión de geometría es variable para seleccionar los tramos por los que deben pasar lo gases de admisión. En definitiva, estos motores duplican muchas piezas al ser prácticamente dos motores unidos y su montaje requiere una gran destreza técnica.

We dare with a MERCEDES V6 ENGINE! This engine has an aluminum block of six cylinders in V to 90º. Its 2 aluminum cylinder heads have four valves per cylinder, with double camshaft distribution in each one and roller rocker arms with hydraulic lifters.


The camshafts are driven by a double chain, which also rotates the balancer shaft, installed in the engine block between the cylinder banks to cope with the vibrations produced. There is a variable timing system capable of varying a range of 40 ° the camshafts.


The intake manifold geometry is variable to select the sections through which the intake gases must pass. In short, these engines duplicate many parts as they are practically two engines together and their assembly requires great technical skill.
