There will be a new video coming soon! It’s about Ollie’s backstory. But it will take time. Academics and my job have started to catch up to me, and I’ve been using my free time to draw for myself instead of social media. It’ll take time, but it’ll come! Stay tuned!

I have a new Alterna Character! While a lot of the ones I have in my color wheel are just OCs that may or may not become cannon, Babs absolutely will. I just fell in love with her, and I’ve never seen a story where an old woman gets a character arc in any way that doesn’t involve her younger self at some point. Since my generation will probably use the internet when we become old, why not create a character that our future selves could relate to?

Yo, do any of y’all think about how fandoms are freaking terrifying? Being a content creator with a persona is kind of terrifying ngl
There are a lot of really scary downsides that I hadn’t considered, so while I’m still small, I’m gonna try to think about how I can make any future online career I have more safe and fun for myself.

Here are some ideas if you guys want to see <3

1. I’m not going to talk about myself anymore. My little antlered character Bean, will just be a symbol, and my channel will not be about myself. I don’t want to be in the spotlight for a bunch of potential Internet degenerates later in my YouTube career

2. I will keep making Ace attorney and other fandom things, because I want to have my fun

3. And as for my show, my entire Internet career will be dedicated to creating Alterna to completion. my original plan was to create a pilot and an animated Indy show Vivsiepop style, and just release it for free on YouTube. But now I’m seeing the negative side effects that has on the fandoms of these shows.

Because children often have unrestricted access to the Internet, they often make up the fandoms for these shows. And as you know, children are freaking stupid and have zero media literacy. If I had a fandom full of children, it would be so toxic.
Furthermore, my show may not be particularly mature, but I want it to be a work of art that makes sense. A work of art that requires media literacy.
So in an effort to keep my fandom small and made up of mostly young adults and older teens, I’m probably going to put a small paywall on Alterna. It’ll Definitely be reasonable, but it’ll be a way to pay any potential teams in the future, and it’ll be a way to keep children out.

That being said, anyone who watches my stuff now, or has supported me in any capacity, you guys are awesome. All of you have been so kind and chill, And I just want to figure out a way for my future career to be happy, and chill, and to make art that is worthy of you guys.
