Vidhi Ekta Sngh: VIAM

In a recent interaction with law students at the headquarters of Vidhi Ekta Sngh, Founder and National President Vikash Maurya ji shared a clear message about the real purpose of internships in the legal profession.

He stated:

Law students should never choose an internship merely for money. During five years or three years of law school, a student should aim to complete at least twenty or ten internships respectively. Those months of practical exposure are far more valuable than any short term stipend.

He emphasized that the primary goal of internships is learning, skill building, and understanding the profession, not immediate financial gain. According to him, the knowledge and courtroom understanding gained during this period will generate far greater opportunities and income in the future.

He further remarked that if someone’s only intention is to earn money during student life, there are many other forms of work available. The legal profession demands patience, discipline, and a commitment to learning before expecting financial rewards.

The message concluded with a clear reminder to aspiring lawyers:

Focus on learning today. The skills and experience you build now will shape your professional success tomorrow.
