My degree finally came in the mail yesterday 🥹😭🙌🏽!!!

Associates ✅
Bachelor’s ✅
Master’s ✅

I endured so much these 3 years. From the paper assignments due at 11:59pm, the YellowDig Discussion Posts, the late assignment submission, Blackboard crashing or being down, the procrastination, the overthinking, rather take C’s over the A’s and B’s, the late nights, early mornings, constant emails to professors, encouragement and assistance from colleagues, health scares/concerns, grievances, financial hardships and preparation for marriage.

The Lord knows how this journey was not an easy one for me. I never knew how mentally strong and disciplined I was when it came to accomplishing such a challenge.

Many times, the enemy threw unexpected curveballs my way trying to take me off course, BUT GOD blocked them.

Lord, I thank you for your everlasting strength.

This may not mean much to some, but it will be for those who have been discouraged into thinking they couldn’t achieve certain goals. Let this be a reminder that you CAN.

As a small-town,country girl from East Texas, God continues to keep showing me WHO I AM🙏🏽🤍.

Would love to share that I’ve finally made it to my final course of my masters program, the Capstone 😭🙌🏽!!!

Even though I’m quite nervous, I’m very much so ready to tackle this. The Lord has brought me too far and if you know, then you know this isn’t an easy journey. I would be lying if I said it was.

Though, it will all be worth it towards the end 🙏🏽.
