I have never written an album and I wasn’t expecting it to change me so profoundly halfway through. when I set out to make what eventually became ‘Porcelain’ I had no direction other than to make bubblegum pop and tell stories. But somewhere along the way I got changed by something.
the lease was up in my little barbie apartment while I was on tour and I spent a lot of time living in air bnbs and hotels. the accommodation was depressing so I found myself outside a lot. I started craving the trees when I was someone who used to refuse to hike. I started learning about and speaking with the native wildlife so I could spend more time in the bush without fear. (I completely overcame my lifelong phobia of spiders this way I even kinda like them now)
I was famously someone who detest religion and had a sour relationship with spirituality but something made me remember the trees are alive and the plants have an undeniable tangible energy and suddenly a universe of colour opened up to me. everything I ever held as a core belief crumbled away and through nature there was an evolution that happened.
just like everything that gets left alone long enough I was reclaimed by nature my sound was reclaimed by nature and so was my art.
but I’m also remembering a truth that I’ve been asleep to and that’s that we are nature too. and my stories about stripping and drugs and religion and eroticism and joy and despair and euphoria are all human nature.
out loud is human and naive and desperate and it’s the most special song I’ve done to date. I’ve never been more proud of a song than this one and I’m gonna cry if I think about it too hard so anyway

this video concept came to me in the middle of the night and I sat bolted up right and recorded the most cooked 9 minute voice note of the vision and I was HELLBENT on becoming a horse. we went through about 13 directors/videographers trying to find someone who could pull it off because I wanted the horse to be a practical effect and not CGI (or god forbid AI) I was close to giving up on the whole video because I refused to compromise on the horse (it was that serious). When maris said yes she would attempt my idea I KNEW she was the one to make it happen. having the opportunity to work with her as a massive fan of her work already was truly a dream. I told her my entire vision scene by scene and she took it, added her genius to it and it became what I get to share today! she truly understood my weird and met every ridiculous idea with enthusiasm and I’m forever grateful I got to work with her mind. the crew was enormous and just as talented and hardworking not to mention my GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS on set who were the most beautiful freaks and the darling @mrjameslance being the best sport and playing my patron perfectly lol
I feel so lucky to have done this with a team of geniuses and have my vision come to life like this. HAPPY MISS EROTICA DAY
well cats out of the bag now lol but i’m so excited to announce my clothing range with Cotton On and Cotton On Body!!! cottonon.com/AU/co/women/peach-prc-collection/ this literally is the most surreal dream come true pinch me moment for me. i remember growing up when an artist i loved would do a clothing line and wishing i could buy everything they released and now i get to have my very own 🥹 you may have seen me wearing some of the items over the last few months and recognise one of the print designs as my very own artwork that i hand painted and drew myself (so special to me) im in LOVE with this whimsical pink frilly girlhood inspired line and i cannot WAIT for you guys to get your hands on them 🩷
