So for about a month now me and Ty have been noticing our videos have been underperforming. Which seemed weird because before that the channel was really taking off. For example our last 4-5 videos did not got the views we expected. So I asked around and it turns out everyone is having the exact same problem, views are down 30-40% across the board.



People are speculating that it has something to do with Youtube's new AI age verification thing which may be automatically turning on Restricted mode on peoples accounts without them noticing. Restricted mode filters out any videos that YouTube deems mature. So if you have it on you might not see new videos that a creator puts out. To show you what I mean I posted 2 pics below. The first one is our channel with restricted mode turned off and the second is our channel with restricted mode turned on. As you can see our 4 newest videos just don't show up when restricted mode is turned on, which may explain the lower viewership, I don't know.


Either way to check if you have restricted mode turned on, click on your account icon in the top right corner and there will be an option to turn on/off restricted mode in the drop down menu. It may be stopping you from seeing content from your favorite creators (aka us lol) so just check and see it's on. Also let us know if this has affected you in anyway or was turned on without your knowledge.

Hey guys Dan here. After 2 years of dealing with chronic jaw pain it seems like we may have found the source of the problem. Tomorrow I’m having surgery to hopefully fix it. I’m nervous but hopeful this will finally provide me some relief. I may be away from the channel for a bit as I recover but if everything goes well I’ll be able to come back stronger than ever and provide you with your favorite 6 out of 10 content on youtube.

Hey guys,

Kind of a weird post here, but my friend works at a company called Ice River Springs and they’re currently running a contest where you send in a video of you recycling one of their water bottles in a creative way.

Problem is only 2 people have submitted a video with one of them being Ty lol. Which doesn’t look good on my friend who’s the one running the contest. So if you guys could work your magic and help out my friend that would be amazing.
