Been buried with courtroom work for awhile and have not had much time for new videos but I am working on a couple related to WV's legislative session which wraps up next week. I plan to bring a summary of the new 2A oriented laws that will make it to final passage status and discuss future efforts in the legislature. See you all soon!

I've been working on a side project for gun and other preparedness-related things I'm into but that don't really fit into the law side of this channel. Sorry about the late release of my video following up the castle doctrine discussion. Work got a bit hectic and then some sort of bug managed to find me and shut me down for the better part of last week. I am well on the way to being better and hope to have that video out this week to discuss self-defense outside of the home such as in your vehicle. Stay tuned!

First range day in a while. Finished my last work day probably for the year and met some buddies at the range. Played around with my grip and trigger finger a bit based on sime pros ive watched here and friends that carry a gun for a living and love the results. Top at 5yds, bottom at 15yds with my Sig P365 X Macro with 17 round mags.

Hey, everyone, thanks for hanging in there with me over the past very slow month for the channel. Between an intense work schedule that carries through the next two weeks and the holiday breaks, available time for new video content has been limited at best. I'm working on a few videos and hope to get back to posting in the next couple of weeks. Sorry for the slow upload pace recently, but my day job has been pulling at me pretty hard recently and I have been spending a lot of time in court. Things ease up a little on my schedule after next week and I am going to be working on getting several videos shot and lined up for release on the channel. This past week I did get an unexpected open day and spent a chunk of it with my friend, Josh Fowler, a BJJ and MMA instructor in Morgantown, West Virginia, and we shot a lot of video for the channel while also recording for his audio podcast, Journeyman Strangler, which you'll find on Spotify, Apple, and also on his YT channel, Black Cat Mixed Martial Arts. That time we spent together will be edited into several videos of our conversation and I am hopeful you all will enjoy the series. The US Supreme Court issued a 6-3 opinion at the end of last week that may have massive implications for administrative agencies such as the ATF going forward. Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo is being heralded by those who oppose the massive regulatory system in this country that has engaged in oftend oppressive levels of rule making, in many cases taking away the role of the elected congress which is the only body authorized under our constitution to create law. For too long, adminsitrative agencies have been given almost unchecked power to make rules that have the effect of law under what has been known as Chevron deference - a legal principle that arose from the case of Chevron U.S.A., Inc. v. Natural Resources Defense Council which, in very short form, resulted in the supreme court giving adminstrative agencies broad power. That power was abused until now with this huge recent ruling. We will take a look at that opinion in a video later this week and speculate a bit on what it could mean for the 2A community and the general health of America overall.

Thanks to everyone who has been subscribing to the channel so far. I don't know if it's just that this is a gun-oriented channel or what, but when I check the latest subscriber totals, in addition to normal numbers, so far I have caught the totals at 223, 243, 308, 338, and just now 357. Maybe it's just me, but I get a kick out of coincidental things like that! Hope everyone has a great weekend. New video will be dropping Monday morning regarding defending other people under WV law.
