One of the greatest minds and most influential artists in the history of the entire music industry, the legendary Quincy Jones March 13, 1933 - November 3, 2024 RIP
“What you can do is prepare yourself to be open; open for the pipeline to open and the magic to flow down through us. It means leaving yourself behind. It’s not a question of, Oh God, don’t let me fuck up, or anything like that. It’s a question of, “Here I am. Work me, Lord.” - Phil Lesh
Before the Grateful Dead there was no music community, there were only fans. The 60s were a pivotal time in human existence, and on the fringe of those societal norms that were being shaken to the core, were misfits and weirdos, free thinkers, and families looking for something to bring them together. They found the Grateful Dead and the music never stopped. Phil was always searching for the sound. Even his Bass playing would be revered as one of the most unique and out of the box approaches to music. Intelligent, kind and gentle, Phil always showed his gratitude at his shows, thankful for his life and all the people who supported him and his family. From the Early Acid Tests, to his and Jill's work with the Unbroken Chain Foundation, they have provided so much richness to so many lives. For many Phil is family, the whole grateful dead community is like a giant family. The loss of Phil was not unexpected, but it is still very sad to see our favorite people go. His music, Bass style, and contribution to the culture of live music and Festivals will trancend as timeless, and historic reminders of what it is to be free, be loving, and to be forever Grateful. We all will miss you greatly Phil! Heres to the legend.
More of this to come! This is the first single of my Fusion Instrumentals exploring multiple styles and techniques of the guitar throughout the decades. I am currently working on the next addition and filming a video to bring it to life, so to speak. This song is called "Jaunt" and it's definitely a short journey of psychedelic rock, soul, funk, blues and prog!
Been working on a new single and video for my solo project. If you listen to my current releases on YT music, you'll know I just make whatever music I'm inspired to make. I tend to jump genres often to practice versatility and explore new sounds. Music is changing so fast these days its unreal what has been coming out the past 4 years, especially in the "guitar" realm. I can't wait to show yall what's been cookin

So Far I'm Super impressed by the tone and versatility of the Ceriatone Horse Breaker. What's your favorite dual OD pedal?
