Hi, I'm Kodiak. I'm a motorbiking nature nerd. Welcome to my channel, MotoHikes.
My love for riding is born out of my love for nature and my passion for exploration, and the motorcycle is undoubtedly the best way to experience the world.
When I'm not riding, I can be found in the woods, on the trail,, on top of a mountain, practicing bushcraft and generally getting in touch with nature.
Join me as I travel the UK (and one day, further afield) on my motorbike (and on my feet!) to find the very best of our countryside. Expect natural beauty, as well as bushcraft, foraging, hiking, camping, ecology, geology, gardening and basically anything to do with getting in touch with nature. Oh, and a healthy dose of memes.

The day is here! Day 21, and the FINALE to my Scotland (and beyond) Tour will be released in 2 hours. In it, I end things on a high by climbing Scafell Pike (England's highest peak), and reflect on this incredible journey.

Going to have to delay today's video, I'm afraid! I'm in the edit now but also have a busy day ahead of me, and don't want to just rush it out for the sake of sticking to an arbitrary schedule. Hopefully I'll have it ready in time for a Thursday release. Thanks for the patience!

Have you checked out my latest video yet? In it, there's something for everyone.
It's packed to the brim with incredible roads, the Skye Museum of Island Life (full of interesting information on how islanders have lived throughout the centuries) and even go to a beach made entirely of dead coral before leaving Skye for the mainland. I even camp in the hills where the element Strontium was discovered! And it was all capped off by a botanical forest, planted with all sorts of rare species.

Out camping for a few days!
Today’s video is uploaded and ready to go. It turns out there’s a couple of bits that got artifacted, and as I am away, I can’t re-render. Apologies! A shame really as today’s video is the best so far. Absolutely stunning landscapes that cannot be missed!
