Look at this tragedy, a perfectly good video left to rot by the algorithm because of DreamWorks nonsense. It's not even getting half the views of a mediocre performing video on my channel at this point in its life. Sadly I'm not a big enough YouTuber to always guarantee good viewing numbers and a restored view count for copyright attacked re-uploads. But this is worse than I imagined. And I thought this video would actually perform quite well considering how good the Tai Lung one did.

Due to DreamWorks bogus copyright claim shenanigans, my reupload of the Lord Shen video is doing TERRIBLE in the algorithm (subs who watched the initial claimed version are not watching this version and so YouTube is burying it).

Please share it if you don't want it to completely flop (which is almost as bad as the monetization being stolen).

Update: DreamWorks officially rejected my response on the Shen video, which is the only option any studio EVER picks (they don't care if they are abusing the system ILLEGALLY) because the literal PENNIES worth (by their income standards) of money they will get from MY HARD WORK that is literally MY ONLY SOURCE OF INCOME is worth the VICIOUSLY EVIL THEFT.

So I will be DELETING the old upload so that they never see a dime and re-uploading the video tomorrow after having re-edited it. If DreamWorks attacks that upload, I WILL NEVER review another one of their movies again.

Bad news, DreamWorks has ALREADY attacked my Shen video to steal my wages, which is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE, I am going to dispute their bullcrap claim, but I may have to take the video down and reupload it ALREADY, while it's still new and hasn't gotten that many views.

This is absolute bullcrap since it passed the automatic system perfectly fine and now retroactively has a problem? Pure unfiltered bullcrap.

This is my job and I LITERALLY cannot afford to lose monetization for my work or I have to quit YouTube.

Edit: I've unlisted the video despite it being in dispute and I think I'm just going to re-upload it. but you can still watch it until the "fixed" re-upload via my DreamWorks playlist or Patreon

Two updates. One good. One bad.

For the good, my next video is almost done, sorry about missing April, I had some MAJOR file problems that needed to be sorted out on my hard drives, I mean literally THOUSANDS of files I needed to sort and quadruple check. But the next video, another Villain analysis by the way, is coming soon.

The bad news is that some sick twisted crap head at Disney (or a fraud pretending to be them) has been ATTACKING my Cedric video, and now they've got it BLOCKED not just claimed, BLOCKED I've disputed all 20+ of their supposed sections where I "infringed" but unfortunately, if the dispute fails I the video doesn't just lose monetization it becomes COMPLETELY UNVIEWABLE. I could appeal all 20+ disputes should they fail, but that risks me getting copyright STRUCK (because YouTube's system is "guilty until proven innocent" for some crappy reason, with ALL power, and I mean ALLLLL power given to the claiment, they are judge jury and executioner, even if they are ILLEGALLY falsely claiming something that is perfectly fair use like my video, WHICH WAS FINE FOR 2 YEARS!)

This is far worse than the Puss in Boots or Mario Movie revenue thieving that happened to those videos, because at least they are still viewable.

So, I know I've never actually posted a video about Doctor Who (yet) but I'm sure many of you have noticed how many clips of the show I use for memes and such.

But I just wanted to let you know that today is officially one of the greatest days of all time, because 2 episodes of one of Doctor Who's greatest stories ever, The Daleks Master Plan, which was previously missing 9 of its 12 parts, has had it's first and third episodes recovered, bringing it up to 5/12 recovered parts, truly a momentous occasion for a massive 60s Doctor Who fan such as myself.

Update: I am an idiot, I was overreacting, my Sofia video is doing a lot better now, sorry for sounding the alarm, I'm just used to being screwed over and assumed the worst.

So this is an apology for perhaps being too negative in my last post.

I mean, my financial situation is still pretty poor, but if this video does at least decently, I'll probably be fine for a while longer.

Anyway, you can dump your ideas for names for my second "casual" channel here now if the last post was too negative. I don't want you all to think I'm manipulating you to feel bad for me, so I wanted to apologize if I made it seem like that. You guys owe me nothing, my rants are never your fault, it's the nonsensical state of the world that is the problem and why I find myself constantly frustrated.

ORIGINAL POST: So good news and bad news (mostly bad).

Good news, my Sofia video finally came out.

Bad news, it is currently performing ABYSMALLY in the algorithm (Edit: actually it's picked up now, so I was being too pessimistic). My monthly revenue has also dropped below survivable level again, as in, if it doesn't go back up to at least $2000 a month, I have to quit YouTube (and become homeless because I have literally no idea what else to do) because I literally won't be making enough to pay rent to my Dad.

Despite the size of my channel, my Patreon makes me pennies because no one actually seems to want to support me save the 8 individuals who are actually on there (extra thankful to them despite the fact that I barely make much from their donations combined).

I'm way too poor to pay for editors or assistants, so I can't publish things faster, which is borderline required to make a decent amount of money.

However, there is one slim hope for me. The only way I could be able to get more videos out faster without any help.

I was considering making another channel for lightly (barely) edited videos where I just dump my thoughts on various things that aren't good enough to justify a normal high effort edited video. Think channels like Topic Arlo, Bandy's Bin, or Scott's Stash.

If I did make this channel though, I have no idea what I would call it, so please give suggestions below.
