The 2023 Red Sox clip the White Sox at Fenway 13-11. The White Sox scored 6 top nine to answer Boston's 6 in the bottom of the eighth but it was not enough. Benintendi went 3-5 with a double and a homer. But the Red Sox scored 5 in the bottom of the 1st. As a matter of fact, the Red Sox just missed a MAJOR LEAGUE RECORD. 12 doubles in one game for Boston, Jarren Duran leading the way with three of them and scoring 4 runs. Crawford for the win with 12 strikeouts and, in what should not have been a save situation, Chris Martin got his save with the final two outs after Winckowski let the White Sox have their way with him in the ninth.

Played solo on Mentat (Expert) level, the best. Three way tie with Rabban and the Earl. Rabban had 6 spice, I only had 1. I do love this game. Dune Imperium, core game. Muad'dib, with a scotch neat.

Rodney Wise waves the checkered flag as Dale Earnhardt roars the Goodwrench #3 to the front with 3 turns to go and brings home the win from the Brickyard. Earnhardt joins Rusty Wallace (2nd) and points leader Jeff Gordon (32nd) as multiple race winners.

The #33 Skoal Bandit car, driven by Harry Gant, takes this 400 mile race at this 90s race at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. Wow, it has been 3 years since I played this. Thanks, Rob! for the inspiration. An old project. After 13 races, the Rainbow Warrior is leading with 523 points, 36 ahead of Jeff Burton in the Exide Batteries #99 Ford. #Rob! #HarryGant #YRL

Best of 3 game series between the 1905 New York Giants and the 1921 New York Yankees.
Game 1. The Bambino launched a one out two run homer in the bottom of the first. However, the Bronx battery could do little else during the game. With the help of Sam Mertes' baserunning and Christy Mathewson's pitching, the Giants picked their way back into this game with Mertes scoring in the 3rd, the 5th and the 7th. Mathewson went the distance in this game, striking out 5 to win 6-3.
Game 2. The Giants scored two runs to start things off in the bottom of the 2nd. Roger Bresnahan had a one out single. Bad Bill Dahlen pushed him to 3rd with a two out base hit. Then Gilbert grounded to Baker at 3rd who booted the ball and allowed Bresnahan to score. Boffo, Candlestick Maker. Bad Candlestick Maker! That was followed up with an RBI single by starting pitcher Red Ames. Two unearned runs. And thus the score would stand. Giants 2-0 over the Yankees.
