Hello! I wanted to post my (mostly finished, not animated yet) sprite of the protagonist of a new game of mine. It's a beat-em-up/platformer hybrid called "Flesh And Darkness" and it's about a kobold tired of the way his race is treated and the brutal conditions (and reality) of being born a slave... so he takes it upon himself to confront the people responsible and dish out some justice with his bare hands. Very clearly Splatterhouse inspired (as you can probably tell already), but with even more ridiculous gore and violence, as well as atmospheres that I will try my absolute best to make genuinely scary. Like, you're nervous about going into a room because of what lurks there. Etc.

ANYWAY! Hope everyone has been enjoying the uploads... I've got plenty more. Let me know what you think of my sprite when you can and I hope you all are well!

First of all thank you thank you THANK YOU to everyone who donated and spread the links around! While I probably am going to need to keep asking for more in the coming months (medical bills are starting to pile up, fuck!!) we hit our goal and I could not be more relieved. Thank you so much again, I feel like I can finally catch my breath for the first time in seemingly forever.

Also! I wanted to see what you folks thought of a little (heavy WIP) sprite I whipped up just now. The idea is that it'll be a super gory beat-em-up/platformer in the vein of Splatterhouse and Demon's Crest (both among my favorites ever); I'm definitely a lot more into making a real bonafide horror game right now than anything else, so hopefully progress should be more consistent. Also not gonna try and do too much with it (hopefully lol). Anyway, tell me what you think etc, I'll read comments as soon as I wake up. Until then, friends!

I'll spare you a super duper long rant right now but the gist is that Mom and I not only need $1000 by the 28th of this month to pay bills etc, but we're apparently also facing eviction because allegedly our lawn wasn't mowed good enough.
