Hi all, thanks for all the great questions on my loot bag video https://youtu.be/f7doZu3Mj_4!

In particular one that caught my eye was from @slab-dd6vj, @jasondunken and @samuelthestrawbologist on the change (that I missed talking about) to loot bag ammo, which at higher loot stages no longer drops normal ammo, which means that if you're using turrets, you'll need to craft your own ammo, or loot / purchase it normally, as loot bags won't give the normal ammo.

To go over the detail - in all non-theme bags, the first category as per the video is Ammo, within which there are four sub groups:

* 9mm
* 7.62
* Shotgun shells
* 44 Magnum

Each has an equal chance to be selected, except for the 44 Magnum - it will not start to appear until at least loot stage 39, and only becomes an equal chance to drop against the other 3 at loot stage 125 or higher.

As an example, at loot stage 39, magnum ammo is 0.05 chance, vs 1.0 for the other 3, so relative chance of 0.05 in 3.05, so 1.6% chance to get Magnum ammo at loot stage 39.

This increases as your loot stage, does according to the following table:

<lootprobtemplate name="ProbT1Cap">
<loot level="0,38" prob="0"/>
<loot level="39,40" prob="0.05"/>
<loot level="41,43" prob="0.06"/>
<loot level="44,45" prob="0.06"/>
<loot level="46,48" prob="0.07"/>
<loot level="49,50" prob="0.07"/>
<loot level="51,52" prob="0.08"/>
<loot level="53,55" prob="0.13"/>
<loot level="56,57" prob="0.14"/>
<loot level="58,60" prob="0.16"/>
<loot level="61,62" prob="0.17"/>
<loot level="63,64" prob="0.18"/>
<loot level="65,67" prob="0.24"/>
<loot level="68,69" prob="0.25"/>
<loot level="70,72" prob="0.27"/>
<loot level="73,74" prob="0.28"/>
<loot level="75,76" prob="0.3"/>
<loot level="77,79" prob="0.32"/>
<loot level="80,81" prob="0.38"/>
<loot level="82,84" prob="0.4"/>
<loot level="85,86" prob="0.43"/>
<loot level="87,88" prob="0.45"/>
<loot level="89,91" prob="0.47"/>
<loot level="92,93" prob="0.54"/>
<loot level="94,96" prob="0.56"/>
<loot level="97,98" prob="0.59"/>
<loot level="99,100" prob="0.62"/>
<loot level="101,103" prob="0.64"/>
<loot level="104,105" prob="0.67"/>
<loot level="106,108" prob="0.75"/>
<loot level="109,110" prob="0.78"/>
<loot level="111,112" prob="0.81"/>
<loot level="113,115" prob="0.84"/>
<loot level="116,117" prob="0.87"/>
<loot level="118,120" prob="0.91"/>
<loot level="121,122" prob="0.94"/>
<loot level="123,124" prob="0.97"/>
<loot level="125,999999" prob="1"/>
</lootprobtemplate>

So the 4 options of ammo are equally likely (at 25% each) once you hit loot stage 125. I don't *think* this is affected by selected weapon skills, but it's possible there's another system at play that helps steer ammo to your preferred type. Let me know your experience and if you think you get more of your preferred ammo from loot bags!

Once the game has determined which of the 4 broad ammo types you will get, it then works out which ammo type. In 1.0 this was always just normal ammo, but in 2.0 they've added HiPower and AP rounds, with the chance determined by your loot stage.

For 9mm, 7.62 and 44 Magnum the break down is as follows:

* Loot stage 0 to 38 - standard ammo for 9mm and 7.62 (44 magnum can't be generated here)
* Loot stage 39 to 68 - chance of standard ammo decreases over this range, replacing with HiPower (44 magnum will start to appear here, but with low chance)
* Loot stage 68 to 80 - HiPower only
* Loot stage 80 to 196 - HiPower and AP rounds both possible. 147 is the inflection point where AP becomes more likely than HiPower, with a sharp drop off, so HiPower is much more likely near 80, and AP much more likely as you approach 196.
* Loot stage 197 and up - AP rounds only.

Shotgun shells are slightly different, since there's no HiPower ammo.

For Shotgun shells:
* Loot stage 0 to 38 - standard shells
* Loot stage 39 to 68 - chance of standard ammo decreases over this range, replacing with AP slugs
* Loot stage 68 and up - AP slugs only

In short - you'll need to consider how much normal ammo you need for turrets (which don't take HiPower or AP) from loot stage 68, as it will not appear in loot bags!

Lastly on ammo counts - from the video you'll have the basic numbers, and I think these are modified by 0.01 times your loot stage - the config entry is [loot_stage_count_mod="0.01"]

So for 9mm as an example, these are 25 to 35, plus a bonus 10 at loot stage 100 (0.01*100) making it so you get 35 to 45 - this seems to track from what I've seen, but I've not tested this one, let me know if you've seen different!

TFP just posted this close up of the new plague spitter zombie coming in 2.0. Many questions still on how they will fight and react - hopefully we'll see a bit more of them in the upcoming dev stream on the 10th of June.

This is in from The Fun Pimps on twitter - we already knew there'd be a bunch of new POI's in version 2.0 - which they've now said includes several (so at least 3?) new gigantic 100x100 meter wilderness Tier 5 POIs including this amazing Rock Quarry.

For reference 100x100 is the same size of the "Pipeline Gas Co", "Navezgane Athletics Complex" and "7 Days Suites" POIs that were added in v1.0 - so these are plenty big.

Watch the video on my new "Dash for Cash" quest: https://youtu.be/35qQ7THGXxw
Then let me know if the reward of double the dukes is about right, or if you think it needs more?

Then let me know below if you think I should leave the quests at normal tier, or run them so that tier 2 quest uses a tier 1 POI?

For those who might not have already seen it - ‪@WaywardEko‬ is streaming right now as part of a 24 hour charity stream for extra life. A worthy cause being supported by an excellent gentleman - check it out and share the love if you can!

Just posted the updated v1.1 version of the New POI Highlight mod - adding in the 1 new questable POI and 5 new remnants that were added in v1.1.

Mod link: www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/5342

For those that haven't seen it - this mod just adds a little asterisk to the name of POI's - yellow = questable, green = remnant. Nothing fancy, just helps to remember if this is new in 1.0 (and now 1.1).

The original video where I show all the new poi's for 1.0 and cover this mod is here: https://youtu.be/ws42OUM8o3U
