What a year it has been.
Through every struggle, every stretch, every moment that asked more of me than I thought I had to give, I chose to use it as a building block to move higher.
This year taught me so much about my heart, my grit, my passion, and my will to succeed. I have learned that growth is not always loud. Sometimes it looks like choosing yourself, protecting your peace, releasing what no longer aligns, and becoming clearer about what you will and will not accept.
I have boundaries now that I am no longer willing to compromise. I have acquired the wisdom to know that access to me is earned, not assumed.
I take loyalty, honesty, and integrity seriously. I cherish building with people whose hearts are genuine, whose intentions are clear, and whose actions match their words.
I have learned to trust myself more. To honour what I know. To stop shrinking to make situations more comfortable. And to keep moving, even when the road looks nothing like I expected.
Oh, what a year.
42 feels different.
I am grateful for what stayed.
Grateful for what left.
Grateful for what broke me open.
Grateful for what strengthened me.
And deeply grateful for the woman I am becoming.
Here’s to another year of building higher, loving deeper, choosing wisely, and walking boldly in everything God has placed inside of me.

Turns out, some of the most beautiful things I’ve learned have nothing to do with how life looks, and everything to do with how I choose to live it.
It’s kinda chic to bet on yourself, even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed.
To let people misunderstand you without exhausting yourself trying to change their minds.
To have boundaries and stop confusing access with love.
To say no, not yet, or not today without carrying guilt for it.
It’s kinda chic to choose yourself without becoming selfish. To honour the woman God is shaping you into. To start again when something no longer fits the life you’re building.
And for me, it will always be kinda chic to love Jesus, openly, imperfectly, wholeheartedly, and to trust Him with every version of me I’m still becoming.
I’ve reached a place where I don’t need every decision to make sense to everyone else. Some choices are between me, God, my peace, my purpose and the life I know I’m called to build.
So here’s to becoming the kind of woman who can love deeply, hold boundaries firmly, walk away gracefully, begin again courageously and still bet on herself every single time.
That kind of chic never goes out of style. đź’ś
