Today I tried adding water mixable oils over a watercolor and it was awesome! I sealed the watercolor with a layer of matte medium first so the oil paint wouldn’t interact with that layer. Thoughts? 😍 youtube.com/shorts/SS-ZNZEmf_...

Hey friends! I have been busy. I’ve had a lot of questions about how I layer watercolor with other materials without things getting muddy or overworked, so I finally put that process into a course.
Mixed Media Landscapes: Layer, Line & Mood is a calm, self-paced course focused on:
• limited palette color mixing
• mark making and texture
• building layers with intention
• knowing when to stop
It’s not about realism or copying my work. It’s about understanding why layers work so you can build your own process.
