Hey y'all, I'm trying something a little different. In an effort to be a little less reliant on YouTube, I'm rolling out a Spotify page. It's a slow process but we're bringing over the entire back catalogue as well as rolling out new videos as they launch on YouTube.
I would also really appreciate it if you gave the page a follow, and a rating, as well as watching a few videos. It'll make a huge difference as we're trying to get it off the ground.
A few quick points: 1. This isn't going to make any difference to the way the YouTube channel works. If you prefer watching videos here, you won't notice any changes. 2. If you have Spotify Premium you get an ad free experience, similar to YouTube Premium. 3. The Spotify channel is still in it's infancy, so there may be weird stuff (for example, the channel is flagged as being Video Game related). We're ironing that out.
I got a chance to see the Rabaconda tire changer in action for the first time at Get On ADV Fest, and it was so cool I wanted to share it with you guys. I'm so sick of taking rims off and going to the dealership, or farting around with spoons in the garage.
Anyone out there using this already, and have any tips for a first timer? Also, anyone out there on the fence about picking one of these up and have any questions you want me to answer?
P.S. Rabaconda did send this out to me, but they're not sponsoring the channel. I just thought this was super cool and worth showing off.
After 5 months of work the EVO-RR build is as done as it's going to get for this season. I have my last track day with RideSmart this weekend at MSRH, come say hi if you're there. There'll be a full video on the build going into gruesome detail coming soon as well as a final track day video but if you want a quick run down of the changes here's a list (this is also so I can keep it straight):
Not a single go fast mod (I don't count the pipe, that was for ground clearance and the torque insert was to quiet it down). This was all in the service of finding additional lean angle and better handling. There's a lot more to be done and I have a custom seat being made now, but that'll be in V3.
I've detailed almost everything, including some stuff that won't make it into the video over on the Discord server which you can access via Patreon or YT Memberships if you're interested. If not just sit tight, I'm really excited to share this video with y'all.
Hey y'all. I'm considering doing an unsponsored look at the new Insta360 X6. I'd have to buy one since I really don't like working with Insta360, but this actually looks like a worthwhile upgrade. Do you guys care?
Y'all aren't ready for the heat I'm bring to Get On ADV Fest this year! Big shout out to @CardoSystemsGlobal for making sure at least my head will make it 🤣
I'll have a little more on the Venture in a bit, but in the meantime, I'm going to make sure my new ADV bike will crush any competition.
Okay folks, this one's a doozy and I'm debating even weighing in on it because it's just a rage dumpster fire of internet outrage and I try to stay above it, but this is different. For the first time I can recall, one motorcycle company has taken a shot directly at another. Indian has decided to call out Harley for the new CEO, off shoring, and culture war stuff. I want your opinions here, but in an effort to keep things from devolving into a shit fight (as anything even vaguely political always does) I have comments disabled.
I'm curious about two things: 1. Do you want to see a video on this - thumbs up for yes thumbs down for no (I can see the ratio even if you can't) 2. How does this make you feel about the brands? (I left out Indian looks bad - Harley looks good because I can only have 4 options)
Hey y'all, just wanted to let you know there's only a few hours left to get entered to win the XSR900 if you're interested. Entries close tonight at 11:59PM PST and the winner will be drawn this week. www.fanathem.com/spite
If you are interested there's a code to get you some extra entries available for Patreon members. www.patreon.com/spitescorner
Well, I've been doing some digging and contrary to what some of the most vocal folks in the comments say y'all have a decent appetite for Harley stuff, so the Sporty's back on the menu.
I never actually got rid of my roadster, I've just been quietly riding it and tearing up race tracks, foot pegs, exhausts and boots and I can comfortably say I've reached the limit of what this bike can give me. So like any good mad scientist it's going through a massive transformation. I don't want to commit to anything yet, but I do have a content plan that I think will be really interesting even to Harley haters since I have documented over a year of track riding across four or five different race tracks, and I've been documenting the stages of my build.
If you dig some of the Sporty stuff, you're going to be eating well over the next few months, and if you don't I'd really encourage you to at least try it. You might be surprised.
@TheGardenSnake just dropped video "fixing" (allegedly) some stuff I messed up on the giveaway XSR900. Go tell him how alright of a job I did installing the brake lines on the bike. But seriously, this is a great walk through on how you can refresh a bike on the cheap.
