We wanted to say a colossal and heartfelt thank you for sticking with DSH! While I have several new scripts written and ready to go, my voice will still need a little more time to heal. See the previous post for that update about what happened to my voice and why I have not posted brand new content in a while. 👀

Because of that time away, the YouTube algorithm has paused recommending our content, so it might take a little while for our videos to find their way back to your feeds. In the meantime, a wonderful listener to our channel shared an idea with me that I am so grateful to her for while I wait for my voice to heal. Dear and cherished supporters and listeners of our channel, you may have noticed that we have not put up a new video for close to 4 months now. Over the winter and into early spring I developed colds, coughs, lost my voice on occasion, and had bronchitis. All of this has turned into chronic sinusitis. Some of this has come about due to our most adorable grandchildren, who on many occasions, we have had the great privilege of baby sitting. As many of you know, grandbabies are little incubators of all kinds of viral and bacterial illnesses that can knock out a grandparent. 😂

After several visits and rounds of antibiotics from my primary doctor and letting him know that it was imperative that I get back to recording for our YouTube channel, I was referred to an ENT Specialist. Turns out I have a deviated septum as well as a septal spur which is contributing to recurring sinus infections.

As a child and young adult I was very physical and loved adventure, and still do. I enjoyed climbing trees and have fallen out of a few, fallen off of galloping horses and dirtbikes, skiing accidents, and even ocean mishaps. Many of these falls and tumbles have resulted in broken bones, torn cartilage, and a concussion. I am an Aries with a Sagittarius moon. Along the way, I know I’ve smacked my nose a few times. Old injuries can have a way of catching up with you.

Because of the time away from posting new content, the algorithm has dropped DSH substantially. Thank you so much to all who have continued to support and listen to our content. Subscribing, sharing, giving a thumbs up and commenting do so much to keep the channel going in my vocal absence. Your comments continue to touch my heart deeply. Many of you are sharing your amazing and beautiful thoughts, experiences and transformations that inspire all who read them, letting us know that we are not alone. I try very hard to read and reply to all the comments.

I have always felt it was important to make the channel about you and the power of your own beautiful being. Any change you have experienced or new understanding over old patterns and habits while listening is because of you and your powerful intentions to create the change you wish to experience in your life. You have made that happen! That being said, I will be having sinus surgery this Thursday on July 2. I would like to humbly ask for your healing prayers for this chronic infection so that my voice can be fully restored and I may continue with what I love and enjoy so much. Creating the space, content, and being a part of this beautiful web of life with all of you from all over the world shining a light to join in with your bright and vibrant lights together, knowing that love, empathy and compassion are the most powerful forces that we share as we evolve into what is next for us all. These are very challenging but exciting times to be alive!
