The Appalachian Channel with John Ward
Since 2021, I have been documenting the people and places of Appalachia as my full-time career. The Appalachian Channel is primarily a travel and destination channel showing people places that are not in mainstream tourist areas. People around the world visit the many mom-and-pop-run general stores and restaurants I feature in my videos. I also document Appalachian people and have them talk about their life experiences. NOTICE OF IMPOSTER: I wanted to post to tell people why I changed my Facebook page and YouTube channel name from “The Appalachian Channel” to “The Appalachian Channel with John Ward”. I changed it because someone has been impersonating my channel for almost two years. They only changed one letter in my channel name for their channel, so many people have been thinking they are subscribed to my channel when, in fact, they have subscribed to the Imposters channel. I have been contacted by other content creators, who have let me know that he is even copying their videos and uploading them to this channel. Check to ensure you are subscribed to “The Appalachian Channel with John Ward.” This is a very unethical practice to trick people so they can gain subscribers.
