Okay, friends — I think I’ve finally figured out exactly where I want to go with this channel. 💕✨

I am officially done chasing monetization. 😂 YouTube is going to do whatever the hell YouTube is going to do with my videos anyway, so I’m no longer interested in trying to guess what might appeal to some mysterious wider audience.

What I am interested in is YOU.

The 50+ people sitting in my front row every week. 🥰 The people who actually come here because you like dolls, creativity, storytelling, making things, playing with the collections we already own — and whatever strange little rabbit hole I happen to wander down next. 😂🐇✨

So THAT is what I want to know:

When you turn on YouTube because you’re in the mood to watch dolly content… what do you actually want to watch?

Because I fully intend to go to some wonderfully strange places from here. 😂💕 Maybe I create doll versions of characters from my favorite books or movies. Maybe I make the clothes or sets that are calling to me. Maybe we go on little field trips. Maybe I spend an unreasonable amount of time creating an entire miniature world because one tiny idea got stuck in my head. Who knows? 😂

And one thing I am committed to: what you see here will continue to be AI-free, handmade and human-made. 💖 These are my dolls, my hands, my sets, my sewing, my ridiculous little ideas, my camera and my imagination. I want this channel to celebrate the pleasure of actually making things — imperfectly, weirdly, joyfully and for no reason other than because creating them makes us happy.

At this point in my YouTube journey, I am fully invested in Restorative Play — creating because it delights me, playing with what I already own, following my curiosity, and hopefully giving you a little place to come do the same. 💖

Everybody shut up, my show is on! 😂📺💕 Seriously, Chica Ye Ye’s little Blythe adventures have become one of my absolute favorite things to watch. It’s part travel vlog, part “LOOK AT THIS WONDERFUL BLYTHE,” and somehow the combination is pure magic. 🥰✨

This time she’s taking gorgeous Manuheali’i along to foggy Devil’s Slide and Pacifica, and between the beautiful California coastline, the mysterious old bunker, the adorable dolly fashion and Chica’s wonderful storytelling, I was completely along for the ride. 🌊🌫️🧳💖

Oh look more of the same from YT - no matter what I do YT will simply not show my videos to more than about 1000 people. Youtube is a deadend platform for me. Don't know why they targeted my channel but it's the truth and I am so sick of their gaslighting. No longer chasing monetization and definitely NOT growth. The only folks who see my videos with any consistency are my subscribers who have set up ALL NOTIFICATIONS. If you leave it at default Youtube will not show you videos from your subscriptions.

Completely agree with this creator - not sure what I am going to do - I feel like the rug has completely been pulled out from under me. I have seen that YT has been suppressing my channel since January of this year and feel like I’ve been gaslighted about this for months and now I see I was right all along. Can’t get watch hours when YT won’t show my videos to more than a dozen or so people.
