I'm a young, aspiring philosophy professor who enjoys teaching and explicating exciting and novel concepts in the realm of philosophy and literature!
My specialties are in postmodern philosophy and literature, phenomenology, pragmatism, postcolonial studies, gender theory, and affect theory. Thinkers of interest include Joyce, Deleuze & Guattari, Foucault, Nietzsche, Burroughs, and Pynchon.
I am particularly invested in the study of James Joyce's "Finnegans Wake" as a postmodern text. With the Wake as centerpiece, I am curious how notions of performativity, textual materiality, rhythm, gesture, form, and the dynamics of the reading experience shape the way we interpret texts and thereby interface with our world.

Hey everyone. Regarding the Logic of Sense reading group: I deeply apologize for all those who were preparing for our meeting today eagerly. Unfortunately, for extenuating reasons I can’t exactly disclose, we will have to cancel the reading group this summer. Feel free to engage in discourse via the community tab and whatnot, but I only belatedly realized it won’t work out this summer (much to my chagrin!) :/

Last summer we did a reading group on Martin Heidegger’s “Being and Time” (selections). I’m thinking of doing another reading group this summer. Does one of these books pique your curiosity? If so, comment below so I can get a general sense of interest and proportions. If there’s enough interest, we will do weekly zoom meetings studying one of these books in depth, to completion. Suitable to all audiences, regardless of expertise, although anything helps. Meetings would likely be Saturday or Sunday at 2pm EST.
