💙 Happy Father’s Day to the Moms Who Did Both 💙

Today my 25-year-old daughter called me and said, "Happy Father's Day. You weren't just our mom... you were our dad too."

I wasn't expecting it, and if I'm being honest, it hit me right in the heart.

To all the women who have carried the weight of both roles—who worked the extra shifts, paid the bills, fixed the broken things, showed up to every game, wiped every tear, gave every pep talk, and somehow still found a way to keep going when you were exhausted—this day is for you too.

There were years when it felt like nobody noticed the sacrifices. Years when you questioned whether you were doing enough. Years when you carried burdens that were never supposed to be yours alone.

But here's what I've learned:

Our children see more than we think they do.

Maybe not when they're 5.
Maybe not when they're 15.
Maybe not even when they're 20.

But one day, they grow up. And they look back. And they realize who was there. Who stayed. Who sacrificed. Who showed up every single time.

Being both mom and dad isn't something most women ever ask for. But when life calls us to do it, we do it because we love our children more than ourselves.

So today, if you're a woman who has had to carry both titles, I see you.

And if no one told you today:

Happy Father's Day. ❤️

You may not have gotten a card, a phone call, or a celebration, but your love, your sacrifice, and your strength mattered more than you'll ever know.

One day, your children will understand. And when they do, it'll mean everything.

I finally got my hands on the new summer fragrances from Mix:Bar and my full review is now live on YouTube! 👀✨

I was honestly really excited to try these because I've enjoyed several fragrances from Mix:Bar in the past and have recommended quite a few of them over the years.

Unfortunately, these particular releases just weren't a match for me personally.

That doesn't mean they're bad fragrances—it just means they didn't work with my skin chemistry and weren't what I was hoping for based on the scent descriptions. Fragrance is so personal, and what doesn't work for one person can easily become someone else's favorite. 💕

So if you've been curious about these, I still absolutely recommend stopping by Target and giving them a sniff for yourself. Never let someone else's nose make the final decision for yours! 👏
