Shree Ram Mandir, Wadala

Official channel of Shree Ram Mandir, Wadala - the temple popularly known as "Maharashtrachi Ayodhya", a prominent Hindu Temple in Central Mumbai.

This temple is one of the Shaka Mutts belonging to Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math of the Gowd Saraswat Brahman community. The temple was inaugurated in the year 1965 on Magh Shudh Shasti by the august hands of then Mathadhipati Shree Dwarakanath Teerth Shripad Vader Swamiji. The presiding deity is Lord Ram with Lakshman and Sita and just in front, across the road is a temple dedicated to Shree Hanuman.

Shree Ram Mandir has many religious activities and festivals round the year, prominent among them is Shree Ganeshotsav concluding on the day of Shri Anant Chaturdasi and Rama Navami festival for 9 days. It starts from the day of Gudi Padva and concludes on Ram Navami Day. A unique tradition has been maintained since the year this temple was inaugurated.
