📣 PSA first day of summer 2025 (June 20) is 2 months away!!
starting a series to outline what my plan is for summer and how to stay cool yet stylish 🤭
summer is my least favorite season ngl - I’m very very sensitive to heat and sweat a lot so I often get self conscious about what I wear 😭
but an easy way to combat that is to know what fabrics are good to wear during hot weather vs. not!!
as a rule of thumb, fall and winter popular fabrics (e.g., wool, leather, denim) are NOT compatible with summer, as they tend to trap heat and are not as breathable.
instead, opt for breathable and lightweight clothes made of linen or summer cotton! other good options are seersucker, poplin, light silk, etc.
that way, you can easily layer light cardigans and shawls over your base to cover up and stay cool ☺️
