Games nowadays get branded as “abandoned” when they’re no longer updated. At what point did we start expecting games to have constant updates and dlc’s? Games used to be released and they were done. Bugs and all. lol. Now people expect devs to stay on top of a game forever.
Is this a fair expectation of devs given increased prices? Does it make it harder for studios?
At what point is it okay for a game to just be done?
