What I’m seeing from mainstream artists—or artists who have made records and albums—is that they look at us like we're just here to purchase, and that’s it. Like you can’t critique their work unless you’ve actually done it yourself. I’m seeing it from T.I., the other guy, and more. I’m definitely looking at the rap industry through a different lens now. To them, our opinions don’t matter, only our money. The consumer can’t tell these rappers how to write or how we feel. They don’t care; they only care about our pockets, not our problems. I’m seeing a similar pattern from all these rappers. They wouldn’t even have a career if we didn't give them one, so why can’t we have an opinion? They use our views for their success, but then belittle us when we critique! I’m not being funny, but I’m definitely gonna start moving funny. The people make the artist. We have the right, and we are in control. I definitely gotta go live tomorrow for sure. I’ll see y'all soon. 🐨🍵
