This story is so sweet. It reminds me of when Sammy came into my life. I knew nothing about birds. They really are intelligent and loving creatures, but they are a huge commitment, so I would never recommend getting a bird. I hear bird owners say all the time, “people don’t choose the bird, the bird chooses their person.” I believe there is truth to that. When I first saw him, he looked so sad and he worked so hard to get my attention. He wouldn’t look at anyone else. I remember there was a woman with a child who wanted to adopt him. He refused to go to them. He wouldn’t let anyone hold him. He kept trying to get to me. I was laughing and saying, I’m just here to visit and see the birds. Honestly, I was so scared of him, but something happened and I knew I couldn’t leave him. I had to bring him home. My precious chihuahua was not happy about this at all. I felt so bad about that. I still feel guilty. Sammy loved Pebbles. Pebbles never warmed up to Sammy. It wasn’t until she was passing away, she did finally kiss Sammy and Sammy kissed her. I wish people would not breed animals. There are so many animals in need of their forever homes. I’m probably a hypocrite to say that considering I’ve purchased three chihuahua’s in my life. Ashley, Annabelle, and Pebbles (Chloe)…they all came from dog breeders. I loved them and I’m grateful for the time I had with them, but there are even chihuahuas in rescue situations. As they say, Adopt don’t shop. Enjoy this video. So sweet.

To my yt friend going through this. You’re not alone. I promise…You will be ok. I went through this in my early 20’s. The best thing I did was have my thyroid removed. Don’t be afraid.
