hello! for those of you that might be interested, i thought it would be nice to recognize the 20th anniversary of my first compositions by compiling them all in one place: www.youtube.com/playlist?list... this is a playlist featuring every composition of mine that I could find, roughly 28 hours of music in total. it includes everything from this channel and my previous youtube channel, as well as lots of unreleased & unfinished sketches, soundtracks, etc. obviously i don't expect or recommend for anyone to listen to all 28 hours of it, but i have timestamped pretty much everything so if curiosity strikes i would recommend just clicking on a timestamp and listening for a bit, then skipping forward to see the progression.
a lot of people ask me for tips on composing, or they ask how i learned. i never have a very good answer, i basically just brute forced it. hopefully this demonstrates that. if you feel bad about your music, just listen to some of my earlier stuff - it took me a lot of time and effort to improve. but if you love writing music, keep up with it and you'll get there eventually. after 20 years i think i'm still improving a little bit every time i sit down to write :)
huge thanks to everyone (and I know there are a few of you) who have listened since very near the beginning, and thanks to everyone who just found me recently. hopefully i can do this again in another 20 years :)

as an aside, since i haven't talked about it much; i'm still plugging away at getting all my sheets converted over to musescore (musescore.com/user/34695467 ). we're at 199 scores on there now and counting, if anyone uses that site drop a follow!

just found out my Mother 3 "Love Theme" arrangement was approved & posted to OCRemix as OCR #4850 (for Mother's day!), big thanks to OCR & the judges panel for their kind words. I don't submit there very often because I find my arrangements tend to be quite conservative, but every once in a while I really connect with a piece and want to take it further; this was one of those times. really beautiful song from an absolutely soul destroying game & i couldn't be happier with how this turned out, give it a listen if you haven't already :)
regrettably I have to inform you that Otz has passed away today. here is a video I filmed with him for tiktok last year
i bought my first two guinea pigs, otz and pancake, almost 5 years ago. it was a tumultuous time for me and there have been significant changes in my life since, but learning about & taking care of the guinea pigs has given me a great sense of peace. luckily the other 3 are in good health and should have years to go, just grateful i have included them all in my streams so i have plenty of footage to look back on
this week i began the tedium of converting my backlog over to their format so it can be posted there. currently 100 scores are available and there are hundreds more i have to convert. i will be doing them in batches first by series (so far all of my arrangements from Castlevania, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Tales of, Pokemon, The Elder Scrolls, and Stellar Blade are available), and then i will start converting the miscellaneous/one off arrangements. my compositions will be posted there at some point as well.
until now the only real way to find my sheets was to come here and search for them in the individual video descriptions, hopefully this will make it easier :)
