Itâs time to seek the Lord. đ Hosea 10:12 (NIV)
âSow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you.â Hard ground in the heart doesnât have to stay that way. Today is a good day to let Him break it up, plant what is right, and wait for the rain of His righteousness. What âunplowed groundâ is He inviting you to turn over this week?
Humble yourself under Godâs mighty hand today. You donât have to force the timing, prove yourself, or carry it all. He sees you. In due timeâHis timeâHe will lift you up. Rest in that promise. Surrender the striving. His hand is strong enough to hold you and kind enough to raise you.
Where do you need to release control and trust His timing this week?
This Labor Day, thank God for the gift of work and the gift of rest.
Whatever you doâat a desk, in a field, in a home, or in a shopâwork at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. (Colossians 3:23-24 NIV)
May He establish the work of your hands and give you satisfaction in your toil. That is His gift.

These are not things we manufacture by trying harder. They are fruit that appears when we stay close to Jesus and keep in step with His Spirit. Which of these fruits do you most need Him to grow in you right now?
âBut the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.â - Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV)
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - Psalms 18:2 (NIV)
âTherefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.â - Matthew 6:34 (NIV)
God isnât asking you to ignore tomorrowâHeâs inviting you to trust Him with it so you can actually live today. His grace is sufficient for this Wednesday, not next weekâs imagined problems.
Whatâs one thing youâre handing over to Him this morning instead of carrying into tomorrow?
Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. - Daniel 12:3 (NIV)
The brightest lights in the night sky arenât the ones trying to outshine everyone else. Theyâre the ones who quietly point others toward whatâs true and lasting. Wisdom that stays hidden doesnât shine. Love that stays silent doesnât lead. But when we share what God has shown us... gently, faithfully, without needing the credit... He makes it glow. Not for a moment. Forever.
Who has God used to point you toward righteousness? Who might He be asking you to encourage today?
Shine on, friend. The heavens are already watching. â¨
Since youâve been raised with Christ, lift your heart higher than the headlines, the to-do list, and the noise of the day. Set it on things above, where Jesus is, seated at the right hand of God.
Your life is no longer anchored only to whatâs temporary. You belong to the One who already reigns.
What is one âthing aboveâ youâre choosing to fix your heart on today?
Iâd love to hear it in the comments.
Colossians 3:1 (NIV)
âSince, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.â
Love God with everything you are. - Matthew 22:37 (NIV)
âJesus replied: âLove the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.ââ Not just a little. Not when itâs convenient.
All of it. Heart, soul, and mind fully given to Him. Thatâs the greatest commandment and the most freeing way to live. Where is God inviting you to love Him more fully today?

In a world that shifts by the hour, this remains true:
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
- Hebrews 13:8 NIV
His love doesnât expire. His promises donât get rewritten. His character doesnât change with the news or the season.
That is the safest place to stand.
What does His constancy mean to you right now?
