CYTOTOXIN.OFFICIAL
German death metal band Cytotoxin emerged in 2010, bringing a new level of intensity to the genre. By fusing technical and brutal riffs while thematizing the devastating effects of the reactor disaster, they quickly drew attention in the scene. Their debut album, Plutonium Heaven (2011), was a self-produced powerhouse, followed by their second record, Radiophobia (2012), which secured them a three-album deal with American label Unique Leader Records.
Cytotoxin quickly gained a reputation for their explosive live performances and razor-sharp precision on their instruments. Their third album, Gammageddon (2017), solidified their place in the tech death community, while their fourth album, Nuklearth (2020), showcased their versatility and songwriting capabilities. Following numerous European tours and major festival shows, Cytotoxin is set to make their U.S. and Canadian debut in November 2024 with their new single Hope Terminator in hand.

We want to take the time to express some stuff that needs to be said.
Two days left until our fifth full length BIOGRAPHYTE will be released. Are you excited? We are for sure and we want to take a deep breath after all the work we had in the last weeks to prepare your breee orders. We are eternally thankful for your support. So many fans from all over the world ordered from our shop. After our last three records we decided to go a fully independed way with physical releases. Over the bands career of now almost 15 years the music was in constant change and we felt the decentralization process is growing stronger than ever. That's why it was time for us to take things into our own hands. And yes we are aware that ordering the new merch is only possible through our shop. That of course means high shipping costs for fans from far away. That's why we want to express our highest graditude for everyone still supporting us despite shipping prices, taxes and whatnot. We are currently working on solutions and talk to different distributors from all over the world. Please make sure to only buy official merch if you want to support us. There are a lot of fake sellers out there.
Pre orders have now all been sent out to all buyers and we hope you all get your ordered stuff in time. If there are any problems we are ready to help. Just contact us through our website or mail.

BIOGRAPHYTE will be the title of our 5th full-length and is going to be released on April 11th, 2025! With our new record, we want to explore our roots and take listeners on a journey through the radiated wasteland of Pripyat. BIOGRAPHYTE dedicates each song to a memorable location, thus narrating the biographical story of the tragic catastrophe in 1986 and those who were affected. Symbolically depicted in the cover artwork, humanity is doomed to carry the consequences of the reactor disaster with it for eternity.
