I was very excited to see that AncestryDNA's new "Matches by Cluster" tool was released today and will be rolled out over the next few weeks. Some people are already playing with it today, but sadly, I don't have access yet. I plan on making a video as soon as I do! (I might even make one earlier, since I know what to expect!) My understanding is that it currently clusters matches between 65 and 1300 cM, but later on we will have more control of these ranges.
š Iām making progress on the ā3 Nancysā case from my latest video! Turns out there may be 3 different William Points, all born in Kentucky around the same time. Now Iām trying to figure out if my husbandās William Points is really the son of Francis Points & Susanna Beach. Itās getting good!

Because letās be honest: you canāt tackle genealogy with DNA alone. Traditional records still hold so many cluesāespecially when we take the time to really analyze them.

This one is about identifying unknown people in census records before relationships were stated. It was a lot of fun putting this together!
