After several months of sign-on problems and password changes, A-Log is back with "Wacked Out Productions!" (or in this case, ottagol1985). Expect several more weirdness from the host of "A-Log on the Airwaves" throughout 2012 and beyond!
Good morrow, Emmy fans! Apologies for the delay, but we have some exciting news to report.
As of this writing, episode 3 is about 80% finished. It was delayed due to some crossed wires and a medical emergency on the video editor's end. But fret not! Once it is finished, I will set up a premiere date for episode 3 of the "Emmy the Robot" comic dub. Remember, we care about quality over quantity over here.
Another piece of news is that were are close to choosing the new cast mates for the second arc of the webcomic. Stay tuned for further updates. And maybe a reveal video as well. Stay tuned, Emmy fans! More is yet to come!
For those of you who have enjoyed the Emmy the Robot comic dubs, I have two things to say.
1) Episode 3 has made it to the video stage, and I'll keep you guys updated on its progress. In the case of Episode 4, the lines for the main characters have been recorded. We just need to find some more voices for the extras, as well as get the best takes for each, and we'll mix the audio when it happens.
2) The auditions for the second arc of the comic are now live! If you're a voice actor on YouTube, please take the time to audition and spread the word. Break a leg, Emmy fans!
Haven't done one of these before. So... here goes.
Episode 2 of the "Emmy the Robot" comic dub is almost done. There's still a few things left to add in the credits, but we're getting there! Once it's done, I'll announce the air date for the second episode.
I will say one thing though, and it's mostly a head's up. Sadly, Lily Avendera will no longer be with us as the voice of Molly; as during video editing of episode 1 was still in effect, Lily's streaming career exploded. As such, Lily let me know months ago that she would have to put her voice-over career on the back burner and continue on her streamer/V-Tuber career. I like to thank Lily for being our Lisa Ortiz when it comes to her portrayal of Molly in episode 1. Shame I lost her e-mail address; since I still owe her payment for her role. (Damn Discord hacker...)
However, it's not all in vain. Me and Dominic talked about it, and agreed to cast Ariel Graham (who voices Amy for the dub) as our new voice of Molly; since she was one of the runner-ups for the role. So, starting with episode 2, Ariel will be doing double duty as the voices of both Amy and Molly!
Audio-wise, episode 3 is still in production as of this post. We will announce the airdate of episode 2 when it's complete.
Here's hoping for a year of more Emmy and other projects in 2025! Count on it!
