You might be wondering what I've been up to and where videos are currently. We'll, I've been in the midst of life issues and trying to figure out what things look like in the future.

As such, ideas or brainstorms have been piling up, but never getting followed through. I think it's what smart people call a creative block.

I admire your patience, and I will have more videos out soon for you. Yet, like always, I don't like milling things out without a good hook because I think you expect alot from me.

I've been seeing so many videos relating to a drop in viewership numbers across the board.

I want to put out there that I'm so thankful for the support you all have been giving me these few years. I really enjoy discussing stuff that makes me happy, and would love to keep it up for as long as it gives me purpose.

However, it can be disheartening when the system doesn't want to push out your content in favour of low-effort, poorly-written slop just for the sake of website retention. If you love your content creators, comment on the videos you like and try to share them around! I'll do the same as well; for everyone who wants to find community, laughs, and thought-provoking art.

I tried this experiment with my YouTube content based upon my video essays with restricted mode on (this feature is found on desktop versions of the website). Turns out, any video discussing anything political, lgbtq+ related, or even a genuine diatribe about a certain subject, is wiped from my channel page. (It's weird, though, that the Arcane videos are still up, but maybe the AI was having an off day)

I'm very concerned about the kinds of educational content being driven away and not reaching audiences who might need to hear them. But, you know, we have to think about the children. It's always about them until it is not.

AI deciding based on your watch history that you need to give up your ID and private info just to prove you aren't a minor.

This is just utterly stupid, and I'm not impressed by this at all. Doesn't help anyone, and the fact this is happening at the same time as other platforms are doing the same nonsense?! No...just no.
