It has not been a good week for SLO COUNTY OBSERVER. I contracted Covid around Saturday, which kept me pinned to my bed for days. Once those symptoms started to subside, a new challenger entered the arena... Strep throat. Strep is like your worst sore throat x10 + fever and inflammation. It is highly contagious, and otc medicine does nothing. So that's been my last 5 days. I now have the prescribed meds needed, and I am still recovering. One thing is certain; this is hands down the worst fkn Labor Day on the books for me. I hope you're all doing well. I'll be back soon. Thanks
