Isaiah 40:6–8 says, "The voice said, 'Cry out!' And he said, 'What shall I cry?' 'All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades, because the breath of the Lord blows upon it; surely the people are grass. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.'”
Friends, your life, like grass, is going to fade away. BUT, also like grass in the Spring, you will be resurrected some day to stand before God for judgment. It's what you do with God's Word (which stands forever) that will determine what will happen to you at the judgment.
Do you read it, believe it, study it, meditate upon it, obey it and share it with others? Or do you ignore it, let it collect dust, treat it as just another unimportant book and disobey it? Take heed, for your eternity depends on what you do with God's eternal Word!

My single Christian friends, your single time as an unmarried woman or unmarried man should not be despised, passed over as not important or treated as some torturous segment of your existence that you only drudge through as quickly as possible in order to "finally get married." You should treasure this time of your life, just like any other.
Learn to be satisfied with JUST JESUS. Fall more in love with Him. Seek His face, do ministry and let Him prepare you for whatever He has next for you. God will provide you with the best spouse in His timing (Matthew 6:33), IF it's His will that you marry! Remember, marriage isn't eternal (Matthew 22) - it's a picture of eternity with Jesus (Ephesians 5)!
