I'm a game developer, actor and lover of languages. I speak Esperanto (C1), English (B2), Mandarin Chinese (B1+) and Spanish (absolute beginner).

I used Adobe Premiere's transcibe and translate feature and it's struggling to translate the native Chinese speaker I was playing games with but has no issue with me lol! (for the most part)

I can assure you this ISN'T what Daniel was saying.

For those curious what video this is, it's a member only video where I play World of Warcraft in Chinese for an hour with ‪@ChocolateChineseCI‬

I just wanted to let you all know that your positive comments after my 1k DS video have really revitalised me. I’m excited to smash out the next 500 hours and see just how far I can take my Spanish.

And to everyone who became channel members, thank you. I promise I won’t let you down :)

No video today.
Had to run a bunch of errands so the remaining free time I have is dedicated to my Spanish and Chinese studies.

For my Lingopie challenge, I’m tracking all the time I spend learning and using Chinese — both on and off the platform.

So for the 50-hour update videos, should they be based on:

- 50 hours of Lingopie only
(which might actually be closer to 55+ total hours once YouTube and conversations are included)
or
- 50 total hours of Chinese progress
(Lingopie + YouTube + conversations, etc.)

Vote in the poll and let me know what you’d prefer!

Hey all!

Most of you know I’m a game developer by trade, while languages are more of a fun obsession for me. I mainly work with Unreal and Unity, but recently I’ve had a reason to learn Godot too.

Since I’ll be learning it anyway, I’m thinking about making a “50-hour update” series where I document my progress and build small language-learning games to give away free to the community.

It’d be similar in style to my Dreaming Spanish and Chinese Lingopie series.

Would you watch this series?
