I'm a game developer, actor and lover of languages. I speak English (native), Esperanto (C1), Mandarin Chinese (intermediate) and Toki Pona (beginner).
It's kind of funny that one of the only Esperanto words with Chinese origins (that isn't a food or cultural term) is bajzuo (pronounced bye-zoo-o) which is a slang term meaning a naïve, overly idealistic left-leaning Westerner.
What makes it even funnier is that I've often heard people complain that Esperanto doesn't borrow enough from Eastern languages. And yet somehow, Esperanto speakers from China managed to sneak this particular word into our language and it spread. Well played sir... well played...
(And no, this isn’t a jab at leftists as someone who is obviously pretty progressive but also has a sense of humour. It’s just a hilarious example of linguistic backfire.)
Also Esperanto borrowed from Japanese their word for chopsticks. We say haŝio (pronounced ha-she-io) in Esperanto. So I guess the Japanese won the chopstick war. Traditionally, though you could say bastonetoj (small sicks) or manĝobastonetoj (small eating sticks).
I've shutdown my Facebook fan page and Twitter profile because I never use them.
That means I basically only exist on Youtube and Discord.
However, I'm thinking that I might need to setup my own website where I also host my videos (like a backup store) because I'm constantly getting slapped with warnings from Youtube. I'm guessing someone keeps reporting shit and I have to keep disputing it.
In the meantime, I'll dump them over at Rumble: rumble.com/user/evildea Not sure if I'll continue to do that long term but for now it will do.
I had a random 5 year old Esperanto video reported and deleted recently :(
I’ve officially passed the C1 exam in Esperanto in reading, writing, listening and speaking :D I’ll make a video on that once I receive the physical certificate, which looks way cooler than just a PDF file.

I need this in Klingon…
Preferably with a voice recording read slowly so I can fake being a native on iTalki.
