3 clever tips we learned from her process:
1️⃣ Slanted stitching hole tip
Before stitching, use an awl to slightly open the angled leather holes first.
The needle passes through much easier, while the finished stitches still keep that beautiful slanted look.
2️⃣ Handle sewing tip
After sewing one side of the handle, aligning the other side can get frustrating.
Use a fabric strip to temporarily secure it in place — much easier and cleaner to stitch.
3️⃣ DIY matching scarf idea 🎀
Turn old clothes or collected fabrics into a unique scarf for your bag handle.
A small detail like this completely changes the vibe of the bag and makes it truly yours.

Why do some holes look round instead of oblique in your oblique-hole leather kit?

Here’s a simple explanation for all DIY lovers:
Not every hole in our oblique-hole kits is made oblique.
We use round holes on corners, small parts and key reinforced areas — it’s designed this way to make the finished bag more durable and sturdy.

Oblique holes are more refined and mainly arranged on larger leather sections for neat stitching.

A little tip:
Gently stretch the leather slightly, or use an oblique awl to easily line up the holes and guide your stitching.
Your handmade bag will turn out neat, firm and beautiful!
