3 a.m. thoughts....
There are moments in the quiet hours when thoughts get heavier than they seem in the daylight.
When it can feel like kindness and love go unnoticed... like warmth is given out into the world and doesn’t always find its way back.
It’s easy in those moments to believe that being unseen means being unimportant.
That silence means absence.
That distance means lack of worth.
And in those moments silence can start to feel like being unseen.
But silence is not the same as absence.
And being overlooked in a moment is not the same as being unimportant.
Some people move through life with open hearts...giving, caring, uplifting others...without always seeing the reflection of that energy returning to them.
This can begin to feel...heavy.
It can feel...lonely.
Connection has an energy. So does recognition. So does love in all its forms.
You are not as invisible as it can feel when everything is quiet...
There is something steady and strong in continuing to be kind anyway.
Continuing to be a gentle loving soul...not because it is always returned,
but because it reflects who someone is even when no one notices...
And for anyone reading this who feels a little invisible tonight:
You are not as unseen as it feels.
You are not as far from connection as your quiet thoughts might suggest.
And this moment...no matter how still it feels...does not get to decide your worth.
