Hey my lovely viewers! I think you know that I hate leaving you in the dark when my videos are missing, and I always try to keep in touch. For those who’ve been following this channel for a while, you probably know that since the beginning of the year, I’ve been saving up for a brand new PC that’s literally a hundred times more powerful than my old one, because I’m planning to work on personal 3D projects that I’ve talked about for a long time. I had to work two jobs to cover my dream setup, so I’ve had almost no free time. As soon as I’m free from work, I’ll be back.

I’d like to explain a bit more about how copyright works when you’re dealing with something ‘massive,’ like one of the world’s most popular festivals. As you can see, my video was blocked for copyright infringement, but if you follow the link to the ‘offending’ content, it’s just some random footage of a car race. You might wonder: ‘Where is that in my video?’ Well, that’s exactly what I mean by ‘connection’ or ‘association.’
You don’t necessarily have to infringe on any actual copyrights to get blocked. Even if you fully comply with all the principles of ‘Fair Use,’ your video can still be taken down simply because it’s linked to the festival. This video is a perfect example of that. Another instance was when I made an edit of Enhypen from Coachella, focusing on Jay, using fan-shot footage—I got a copyright strike for that too, just because it was filmed at the festival grounds.

Like many of you, I find it hard to believe that Heeseung’s decision to leave the group was truly his own. However, I’m hesitant to put forward any theories because I have a fairly large audience, and we simply don’t know the full truth. Still, the whole situation feels very strange to me, so I’ve decided to sign the petition.
