ولامَ عليهِ غيرَهُ؛ فهو أحمقُ

إِذا ضاقَ صدرُ المرءِ عن سِرِّ نفسِهِ
‏فصدرُ الذي يُستودَعُ السرَّ أضيقُ،.🪶

جب انسان خود اپنی زبان سے اپنا راز ظاہر کر دے
پھر اس کے افشا ہونے پر دوسروں کو ملامت کرے تو وہ نادان ہے۔
اگر انسان کا اپنا سینہ ہی اپنے راز کو سنبھالنے کے لیے تنگ پڑ جائے

‏أوَ بَعدَما زانَ المُقَامُ وَطابا؟

‏مَا جَاوَبُوا! بَل نَابَ عَنهُم صَمتُهُم
‏والصَّمتُ أَوجَعُ مَا يَكونُ جَوابا،.

جب انہوں نے کوچ اور روانگی کا اعلان کیا تو میں نے پوچھا:
کیا اب جبکہ یہ قیام اتنا خوشگوار اور دلکش ہو چکا ہے تم چلے جاؤ گے؟
انہوں نے کوئی جواب نہ دیا؛ ان کی خاموشی ہی ان کی طرف سے جواب بن گئی
اور بعض اوقات خاموشی سب سے زیادہ دردناک جواب ہوتی ہے۔
